Still Life with Spool Cabinet

This studio-based study was inspired by a collection of acquired objects. Direct observation is used to accurately define each form. By applying this classic approach to still life painting, the composition is accentuated with controlled brushwork giving a sense of importance, order and balance to everyday objects.
