Self-Reflection

Self-Reflection

Self-Reflection is a study of facial features rendered in ambient light. Layers of muted colors are applied to illustrate the modeled tones of flesh. The solitary figure looks pensively beyond the picture’s edge creating a sense of reflective contemplation. A limited palette of neutral color is applied in order to preserve the quiet, meditative state of the composition.
